i followed this steps for licence:
1. Run c:\Program Files\ECULP\ECULPINIConfig.exe
2. Get HostID from Security tab
3. Copy jdlm.lic to c:\jdlm\jdlm.lic folder
4. Copy dl.xml to c:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Service ADVISOR\ folder
5. run dl.xml.reg

but after i run the program says “license is invalid or has expired” does any one know haow to solve this??

Replied:

I have had that problem,I think there is 2 folders very similar for step 4.See if you can find another Service advisor folder and copy it to there and then run step 5 again

Does JD 4.0 include information about older machines, i mean 2010, 2009, 2008, and before or JD 4.0 only has information for 2011 and 2012 machines ??

Yes, by 2011-2012 i mean the data disks created in this year but contains information about all machines even old ones are in Hist disks.

The last but best John Deere Service Advisor solution:

Get a decent Joohn Deere crack version – MUST confirm its functionality

I’m using John Deere Service Advisor  2.8 CF and John Deere Service Advisor  4.0 CCE

Has no expiration issues.
